Of 980 people who looked for a trade, 724 (74%) were shown a list of tradespeople or accepted Champi finding one for them.

When Champi sends a job to nearby tradespeople, whoever accepts does so in a median of 1.9 minutes. 83% of acceptances arrive within 15 minutes and 94% within the first hour.
54% of requests sent to tradespeople get an answer (accept, decline or quote).

Methodology
Source: Champi's operational records. Champi is a free directory of tradespeople that works over WhatsApp and the web. "Tradespeople" means profiles registered and active on Champi; third-party directories are not included.
Demand: distinct people (not messages) who named a trade when searching, over the last 90 days. "Were offered tradespeople" counts those who saw a list or accepted Champi finding one for them.
Speed: minutes between a job being sent to a tradesperson and their acceptance. Gaps: searches where no tradesperson of the trade was within local range and the search had to widen nationwide.
Location: each tradesperson's region is the one they declared at registration. Demand's region is estimated from the search's approximate location (rounded to about 11 km), so Lima and Callao can blur together.
Privacy: only aggregates are published, never names, phone numbers or documents. Any figure describing fewer than 5 people or tradespeople is shown as "<5" or left out (k-anonymity ≥ 5). 285 cells were suppressed in this edition.
In every breakdown (by trade, region, city or rating), categories with fewer than 5 are folded into an "Other" bucket published only when their combined value reaches 5; if only one small category existed, the smallest visible one is folded in too, so "Other" never corresponds to a single one. No published total can therefore be used to reconstruct a hidden figure by subtraction.
Limitations: this data describes Champi's users, not the whole Peruvian labour market. Years of experience are self-declared.
